On behalf of the Executive Board of the California Community College Soccer Coaches Association, congratulations on reaching the third round of the CCCAA Regional Soccer Championships.

Please be aware that there is a mandatory conference call for participating coaches NEXT SUNDAY, November 28th at 5 PM. This will be an occasion to exchange last-minute information about accommodations, Thursday practice sites and times and other important information. The call-in number is 1-888-886-3951. When prompted, you will then enter the conference code 230900 followed by the # key. If you absolutely cannot get on this call, please have an assistant coach who has knowledge of all your travel plans (time of arrival, hotel site, size of party for banquet, etc.) on the call.

Please send in your Team Photo, Head Coach Photo and Roster to Mike Carlile at mikec@printfresno.com (559) 905-1082 IMMEDIATELY. Formatting for the Championship program takes several days and due to printer deadlines, we must have all your information now. It is very embarrassing for an institution to come to the Championships and find a blank entry among all the team photos in the program.

I understand that most of you do not like to plan beyond the next game, but due to the short time window between the third round and the championships, some degree of planning is ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY prior to this weekend’s games. We have another large event in the area that is putting high demand on hotel accommodations. There is also the Championship Banquet on Thursday evening and the catering staff needs a solid estimate on the head count. This banquet is an exclusive event for the participating teams and CCCSCA guests. Unfortunately, we shall not have the space available to accommodate parents or friends.

We offer the official Championship T-Shirts and Championship programs for pre-sale to the participating teams at a significant discount. The pre-order is very important, as teams that have waited in the past have usually found that T-Shirt and Program were SOLD OUT at the event site PRE-OREDERING ALSO ASSURES THAT YOUR STUDENT ATHLETE RECEIVES THE T-SHIRT IN THE SIZE THEY WANT. As the CCCSCA buys and sells the T-Shirts for our participating schools, we will order only a limited quantity above what our teams pre-order.

In order to encourage pre-orders, we have discounted the advance sale price for T-shirts and programs. The entire package (banquet, T-Shirt and program) is $25 per person. This compares with an on-site price of $15 for the T-shirt, $5 for the program and $20 for the banquet. Without the program, the price is $22 per person. Banquet-only costs $13 per person pre-order. The CCCSCA makes these discounts available to you ONLY FOR PRE-ORDERS. Once you arrive, all additional orders will be sold at the on-site price.

 

* Due to catering requirements, we are able to sell on –site Banquet admissions in a very limited number (max of 10 for entire banquet).

 

I need to know your banquet party size, T-shirt pre-order (including sizes S, M, L, and XL) and program pre-order by 12 noon THIS FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 27th. Limited adjustments (10-15%) in your order numbers may be made on the Sunday conference call. Of course, teams not advancing to the finals will have their orders cancelled.
